The Council for Science Policy of the Brussels-Capital Region

The Council for Science Policy of the Brussels-Capital Region (CPS^RBC) is an independent advisory body of the regional government.

The CPS^RBC is made up of experts from the Brussels research and innovation sector, and has a dual role:

• Taking a critical and constructive look at the regional science, research and innovation policy.
• Providing a discussion and cooperation platform for the various stakeholders in this policy area.

The CPS^RBC formulates opinions and recommendations on various subjects within the areas of science, research and innovation. It does this on its own initiative, at the request of other stakeholders within the sector or at the request of the government.

All opinions and recommendations are communicated to the Government and the Economic and Social Council of the Brussels-Capital Region.
