CARAH is active in applied research in the fields of biotechnology and plant science. Its expertise in the area of biotechnology is focused on plant pathology, environmental genetics and molecular biology (PCR, sequencing). In plant science, it studies the soil-plant system under controlled conditions, evaluating the quality of fertilizers, the efficacy of biostimulants and the development of hydroponic crops, with the possibility of field trials.
