Innoviris offers several forms of funding to support innovative projects or research for different audiences such as businesses, research organisations and non-profit organisations. The forms of financing are adapted to the stage of the project, from a simple idea to a more successful business model:

  • Innovation vouchers: Are you in charge of a Brussels SME and do you have an innovative project? Receive innovation vouchers of up to €10,000 to have your idea tested or to carry out a one-off assessment by a research centre.
    • Subsidy: granted for a maximum of 75% or up to €10,000 of the total cost of the application for support to a research centre,

  • Proof of Business programme : Financial assistance to help companies test technical and business feasibility hypotheses.
    • Subsidy: granted for an amount that covers 50% to 70% of the expenses with a ceiling of €100,000,

  • R&D Projects programme : A programme aimed at granting subsidies to companies with innovative projects to cover costs related to industrial research, experimental development or process or organisational innovation.
    • Subsidy: granted for an amount covering 15% to 70% of the project budget,

  • Joint R&D Projects programme : A programme aimed at promoting collaborative projects between companies and academics based on a call for projects with an annually defined theme. The projects supported by this programme are more substantial. The projects have a duration of 1 to 3 years.
    • Subsidy: Financial assistance varies according to the size of the business:
      • 40% for large companies
      • 50% for medium-sized companies
      • 60% for micro or small businesses
      • 100% for research organisations

    • To enable rapid validation of an idea, Innoviris offers companies the opportunity to test the idea they want to submit in a simplified way ("Test Your Idea") and in just a few steps. This allows rapid feedback on the idea being put forward.
